Knowledge, Skills, Competence, Persistence & Perseverance
The CliniWise story began with a quiet moment of recognition. It started with an article by Mansi Shah in the Pharmaceutical Journal, which illustrated the real-world impact of clinical pharmacy in practice. Founders of CliniWise fondly remember the then unknown avenue being paved with a LinkedIn message from Minesh and a reply from Mansi, that was not auto-generated.
Beyond Mansi’s professional achievements, her decision to return to India to apply her expertise highlighted both the complexity and the opportunity of advancing clinical pharmacy in emerging healthcare systems. Complemented with Minesh’s continued practice, what followed was an exchange that grew into a lasting professional relationship and friendship.
That idea of a bridge resurfaced years later through work examining the challenges of translating clinical pharmacy education into consistent practice in many regions of the world. It became clear that progress required more than education or ambition alone—it required collaboration grounded in local context.
Conversations with Praveen Davanandan further clarified the structural and cultural realities shaping the profession. Around the same time, Rajani Shakya was introduced through Mansi. Her professionalism and active commitment to advancing pharmacy made clear that meaningful change was already underway.
It was a fine day in September 2025 that culminated in bringing together these founders of CliniWise with over 8 decades of cumulative experience in academia, experiential training, practice, regulatory, clinical research, and pharmacovigilance.
Through shared conversations and aligned values, CliniWise took shape—not as an organisation first, but as a purpose. Today, CliniWise continues to grow from a simple belief: that the future of pharmacy and clinical care is built through connection, collaboration, and the courage to create something better for patients and people.
